Mental Health First Aid Training
We offer Mental Health First Aid Training to several audiences in Delaware. Participants in this 8-hour training should be adults. This training is offered as a one-day course or a two-day (4 hours each) course.
Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour course that gives people the skills to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. The evidence behind the program demonstrates that it does build mental health literacy, helping the public identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness.
ADULT - This class is helps participants better understand how they can assist a person in mental health crisis.
YOUTH - This class is primarily for those who work with or frequently encounter children and adolescents so that they can better be of support in crises.
PUBLIC SAFETY - This version of the class is for first-responders like police officers and fire-fighters.
