SUMMARY:Pathways to Hope Conference
DESCRIPTION:Pathways to Hope is a free\, empowering conference for anyone interested in transforming mental health support and understanding\, uniquely bridging the gap between faith communities and mental wellness. \nJoin a welcoming community where mental health and faith intersect\, forging connections\, sharing insights\, and uplifting each other towards a future free from mental health stigma. NAMI Delaware is one of 19 NAMI State Organizations and Affiliates offering Pathways to Hope\, which will include both national plenary sessions and locally curated workshops focused on the vital role of faith and spirituality in mental health support. \nThis conference will run August 22-23\, 2025\, from 8:15am-4:30pm each day. We will be at the Westminster Presbyterian Church (1502 W. 13th St\, Wilmington\, DE 19806). \nWorkshops will be organized into five key areas: \n\nMental Health\nPeer Support\nTherapy & Counseling\nFaith & Community\nYouth & Young Adults\n\nFREE REGISTRATION HERE\nPathways to Hope is an inclusive community for all experiences and perspectives\, including all ages\, races\, genders\, sexual orientations\, religious practices\, socioeconomic statuses\, and any other demographic. We invite everyone attending to be their authentic self. Diverse perspectives and lived experiences guide our programming and our work. We’re committed to fostering an inclusive experience that reflects those values. DESCRIPTION:When someone has a mental health crisis\, sometimes there is no choice but to call 911 and receive a police response. What are the circumstances that require this? What can individuals and their families expect when something like this happens? What can the family/loved ones who are present do to help in this situation?
