Wilmington, DE – A brand-new youth-produced podcast is hitting the airwaves to start real
conversations about mental health in Delaware. DE-Stress 302 launches this Tuesday with Episode 1
guest Governor Matt Meyer. The new podcast offers honest stories from those with lived experience
and expert interviews, and provides helpful tools to support emotional wellness for people of all ages.
Produced by The 988 Lifeline and The CAUSE, De-Stress 302 is dedicated to giving voice to the lived
experiences of Delawareans—especially youth, families, and community advocates—while shining a
light on the resources and hope that exist across the First State.

“Mental health is important to me,” said Alena Duggan, host of De-Stress 302, “because healing
starts from the inside out.”

“A healthy mind is the foundation of a healthy individual, and healthy individuals are the foundation of
a healthy and thriving community,” says CEO of The CAUSE, Scott Michels. “Taking care of our mental
health is taking care of Delaware.”

The show also includes a segment called Mindful Mondays, where each guest shares a positive practice
that can help listeners with their own mental health.

Then on Tuesdays, join Associate Producer and show host Alena Duggan (19) as she and the youth of the
production crew release weekly episodes featuring local voices, including mental health professionals,
social workers, educators, and individuals with lived experience. The show will tackle topics including
stress, anxiety, trauma, suicide prevention, resilience, and community-based support.

The podcast is available starting Tuesday, July 15th on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and all major podcast
platforms.
