Giving:
Planned gifts are donations to NAMI Delaware as part of your overall financial or estate plan that will take effect after your passing. With forethought and planning, you can make a significant gift to our organization without affecting your lifestyle or your family’s security. Facebook
Fundraisers:
Use your birthday and Facebook’s easy fundraising tool to help NAMI Delaware. Ask your friends and family to visit the NAMI Delaware Facebook page and select Fundraisers from the menu on the left. Click the Raise Money button to get started. You can create a fundraiser any day of the year, not just your birthday.
Employer Matching
Gifts:
Many companies will match their employees’ and retirees’ charitable contributions. Check with your personnel office to obtain the necessary forms and instructions. Send the completed form to NAMI Delaware, 2400 W. 4th St., Wilmington, DE 19805. Your dollars could double or even triple.
The United Way of Delaware:
Designate a payroll deduction or contribute to The United Way of Delaware and have the funds directed to NAMI Delaware. Contact The United Way at 302-573-3700. NAMI Delaware’s book number is 103.
Qualified Charitable Contributions from IRA’s:
If you are age 70 1⁄2 or older, you may be able to direct a distribution directly from your IRA to support your favorite charity AND exclude the amount from your taxable income. This also applies to your Required Minimum Distribution.
