Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) News!

NAMI Delaware, the project managers for the Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) program for Delaware law enforcement is proud to announce the completion of the 10th Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training class in Delaware since it’s inception in 2014! This 40-hour training program provides officers with education on mental illness, addiction, children and geriatric issues, veterans’ mental health, the effects of trauma, legal concerns, de-escalation strategies and more! With the completion of this 10th class there are now 377 trained in Delaware!
