Opening: Property Manager

NAMI Delaware is seeking a Property Manager to provide property management, maintenance, and upkeep of its housing properties and facilities.

Our Property Manager will share in the management of 76 properties located throughout the State of Delaware, which are home to more than 300 people living with mental illness. Your duties will include:

  • Maintenance activities such as painting (interior and exterior), general property maintenance, pest control, and facility cleaning, among others
  • Managing tenant interactions, violation notifications, evictions, and move-in processes
  • Supervising the work of contractors to meet the organization’s standards
  • Maintaining and updating property records in various software programs
  • Prioritizing phone calls, emails, maintenance requests, and other communications

SALARY & BENEFITS

  • Salary: $45,000
  • Work Location: Statewide
  • Reports to: Senior Director of Housing and Facilities
  • Benefits:
    • Health insurance plan. Employee premium and $1,000 deductible are 100% paid by the employer. Dependent premiums are paid by the employee via a payroll deduction.
    • Dental and vision insurance at the employee’s expense. Eligible the first of the month following 30 days of employment.
    • Life insurance up to $25,000 at employer’s expense – 90-day waiting period.
    • Short-term disability at the employer’s expense – 90-day waiting period.
    • Long-term disability at the employer’s expense – 90-day waiting period.
    • Vacation leave (15 days annually, accrued), increases based on tenure
    • Sick leave (12 days annually, accrued)
    • 403B retirement plan.  There is a 1-year waiting period for the company match.

    • Cell phone and company vehicle

HOW YOU QUALIFY

  • High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and professional work experience
  • 5 years of experience with property maintenance and related activities
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience in Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
