BECOME A PRESENTER

Looking at mental illness
through the lens of faith.

The Pathways to Hope Conference is Delaware’s largest mental health event.

August 22-23, 2025
8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Westminster Presbyterian Church
Wilmington, DE

The Pathways to Hope Conference is a two-day, interfaith gathering hosted by NAMI Delaware in partnership with the NAMI FaithNet Initiative. Now in its fourth year, this impactful event brings together people of diverse spiritual traditions to engage in open, honest, and compassionate conversations about mental health and healing.

We aim to create a welcoming space where faith, community, and mental wellness intersect, breaking down stigma and empowering individuals, families, and congregations with tools, resources, and renewed understanding. The conference offers a unique opportunity for faith leaders, mental health professionals, peers with lived experience, youth advocates, and community members to share wisdom, learn from one another, and foster connections beyond the event.

Through nationally produced plenary sessions and locally designed workshops, attendees will explore topics from spiritual support and clinical care to youth empowerment and peer-led recovery. Participants leave with a stronger sense of belonging, purpose, and hope.

Whether you’re part of a church, synagogue, mosque, temple, or spiritual community of any kind, Pathways to Hope invites you to take part in our statewide movement to uplift mental health, nurture faith, and build bridges between people and the care they deserve.

Submit your presentation proposal no later than July 23rd, 2025. We will review all applications and select those most appropriate.  Our final program with full details will then be ready by July 31st.  Please do not submit your application by email; only those submitted here will be considered.

Support a diverse community

Through presentations, such as yours, participants will explore the boundaries of their mental illness or of those they love through expressions of faith. They will discover resources, develop connections, and foster a better understanding of relating to mental illness.
